Wednesday 2/12/2020: first deadlift / back hypertrophy day of my new block. 6@5 deadlift followed by RDLs and accessories.
Ive been trying to focus more on extension while deadlifting rather than flexion in order to use the hinge motion more. This has been hard but is slowly paying off. I’ve also found that deadlifting on a stiff bar is much better for me than a deadlift bar. I can control the slack more and get into a better position.
Hit 405 for 6@5 which is a big PR. I really wanted 405 but was afraid it was going to be an rpe overshoot but turned out well. Looking forward to improving technique, getting stronger and hitting 600lb!
