DE Legs 2/20/20 Instagram: @dinopowerlifting sub 140kg class

Today I hit dynamic effort box squats and deadlifts. My hips and knees are starting to feel pretty beat up and worn down, luckily today is the last day of my three week wave, so next week I can back the down a bit.


For squats, I hit a 10x2 with 335 pounds of straight weight plus 200 pounds of band tension at lockout. Here is what my squat set up for the day looked like:

After the first few sets, speed started to pick up, but I will definitely be dropping the weight next week to regain more explosiveness.


Next, I hit a 6x2 on speed deadlifts from the floor. I used 455 pounds straight weight plus 200 pounds of band tension at lockout. Speed was decent today but not great. Will definitely be dropping the weight next week when I start my final full 3 week wave before The Central Coast Open next month.
